Meine deutschen Kursmitschüler

Meine duetschen Kursmitschüler (My German course classmates) from left (by nationality): Bosnia, Serbia, Algeria, Serbia, The Bahamas, Canada, Hungary, India, Hungary, (below) America, Brazil, and Thailand.

We’re now only three weeks away from taking our Prüfung (exam) for the first level of German literacy (known as the A1) and are all abuzz with anxiety and preparation.  Our class has whittled from the original 12 or 13 to about six persons for various reasons but we managed to snap this class photo first (the only person missing is the soccer player from Serbia).

In the 6 or so weeks we’ve spent with each other, I’ve learned a lot about their countries and of them as individuals and unofficial ambassadors – as I hope they’ve learnt about me and The Bahamas.  Hopefully, we’ll all be together again for the A1+ (second level of four required literacy certifications)!

About A Bahamian In Austria

I am a Bahamian woman, married to an Austrian man, who's been freshly transplanted to Vienna. I started writing this blog when a dear friend insisted that I had to write down my experiences. At best it'll update my buddies on my crazy-going-ons and at least, it'll keep me from stalking them online (LOL). I hope you enjoy :D
